Who we are
HelpMyBooks is operated by HelpMyBooks.com. We provide AI-assisted bookkeeping reconciliation tools for Australian bookkeepers and their clients.
What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to provide our service: email addresses for authentication, transaction data you import, client responses to bookkeeping questions, and receipt files you upload. We do not sell your data to third parties.
How we store data
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Receipt files are stored in Supabase Storage with private access controls. Data is hosted in Supabase's Australian region where available.
AI processing
Transaction descriptions and client answers may be sent to AI providers (OpenRouter/OpenAI) for classification. We do not send personally identifying information beyond what is needed for classification. AI output is advisory only and must be reviewed by a qualified professional.
